Community Workshops

Ran picture book workshops at local libraries and youth centers, bringing the stories to children outside the classroom. Each session paired a book with discussion and a hands-on activity, so children could see that the kids in the stories were their own age — and that each had lost something to the climate crisis: a home, shade, a school. Behind each loss was a basic right every child should have.
