GIN Joint Workshops

Reached out to GIN chapters at other international schools in Korea, which grew into regular joint workshops with four schools: Chadwick International, Asia Pacific International School, Seoul Academy International School, and Seoul International School. We compared what each chapter was working on and looked for places to overlap.

That turned into an interschool writing competition, Human Rights in a Changing World, with six student winners — and a commitment from every participating school to run it again next year.

Human Right Week

GIN joined the school-wide Service Club Impact Fair, hosted by the Korea Human Rights Initiative (KHRI) Club. Over two days, clubs presented their work through talks, exhibits, and discussion.

GIN's display boards were built from cardboard left over from the Beyond Climate, There Are People exhibition. Members also built a matching game out of discarded cardboard: students paired a right — to education, safety, or shelter — with a climate event that threatens it, like extreme heat, flooding, or drought.
