Jungwon Library Workshops
Ran a workshop for elementary school students at Jungwon Library, built around one question on the screen:
"Where is my home?" The lesson followed children who had lost their homes to climate change. Afterward, students wrote on cardboard — not their own feelings, but what they thought those children were feeling. Sad. Crying. Scared. Angry. Afraid. Lonely. Worried.
In a later session, the question changed: "What can we promise to the Earth?" Each student wrote their own promise on a cardboard sign, hung it around their neck, and had their picture taken. Then they added the photos to a shared board: "Promises to the Earth." The goal was not only to teach facts about the climate, but to give students space to respond to the children behind them.
